Hastelloy C22 (UNS N06022) Plates is used in pollution control, chemical processing, pulp and paper production, waste treatment, marine seawater applications, etc. When comparing the two alloys, there is little difference in corrosion resistant performance with one exception; Hastelloy C22 Sheets shows an improvement over Hastelloy C22 Sheets when used in certain saturated wet chlorine environments. Hastelloy C22 Strip, Sheet & Plateoffers excellent metallurgical stability, resistance to localized corrosion, and is not sensitized during welding or heating.
