Hastelloy B3 Wire withstands vigorously corrosive acidic media such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, formic acid, phosphoric acid and other reducing conditions. It gives outstanding resistance to non-oxidizing acids at the whole magnitudes and temperature limits. Due to low content of chromium, Hastelloy B3 Wire is not suggested for use in oxidizing conditions such as in presence of ferric or cupric salts. It should also not be used in applications including wet chloride or hypochlorite bleach.
